To honor the first responders, men and women who lost their lives during the tragedy, Dr. Phillips High School held a ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 11.
After 24 years of the occurrence, many families still suffer from the loss of their loved ones.
Students gathered in front of the school with its JROTC and band, as well as guest speaker Colonel Matthew Tipton, to honor those who courageously lost their lives trying to escape.
