Children and Windermere police officers enjoyed a sunny day out at Lake Butler for the WPD's fifth annual Cops & Bobbers event Saturday, Sept. 20.
This annual event allows the youth community of Windermere to fish with police officers to become more involved with the city and its police department, while also having fun and relaxing.
Attendees were able to enjoy a boat ride to fish with officers, as well as shoreline fishing for younger children.
Some residents fished for their first time during the event.
