The Orange County Sheriff's Office was among businesses, organizations and community leaders honored during The Pride Chamber's annual Celebration of Resilience Pride in Business Awards & Gala Saturday, Sept. 27.

The Sheriff's Office received the Community Partner of the Year Award for its "unwavering support of all communities," according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff's Office. 

The Sheriff's Office is the first law enforcement agency in the U.S. to earn accreditation for its LGBTQ+ Liaison Program through Out to Protect Incorporated.
