Leave it to beaver.

After years of debate over restroom location and design in the town of Windermere, a new plan has emerged.

Convenience store giant Buc-ee’s has been tapped to complete work in the town.

The company has built quite the reputation for its large, clean and celebrated restrooms — so much so that travelers often hold it for miles until they can reach one to do their business.

Instead of trying to appease town residents with unassuming design and ideal location, Buc-ee’s plans to take the entire Town Square Park to construct its facilities. Much like the ones located inside the convenience stores, the Windermere facilities will include 100 stalls in the the women’s restroom and 50 stalls and 50 urinals in the men’s restrooms. In addition, each will include 30 sinks, and both paper towel dispensers and Dyson air dryers.

However, the Windermere facilities also will include some unique amenities, including a vending machine for Beaver Nuggets, jerky and barbecue sandwiches.

A first-of-its-kind Buc-ee’s food truck also will be added to the town’s monthly Food Truck Night.
