The city of Ocoee announced a temporary extension of constructions hours for the new reclaimed water tank.

From 2 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, April 8, and Thursday, April 9, on the east end of Nicole Boulevard, crews will be applying a specialized epoxy coat to the inside of the tank, which adheres best when temperatures are dropping.

A City Utility Inspector will be on-site monitoring noise levels and compliance.

To help minimize disruptions, crews are limited to interior lighting and a medium-sized compressor.

“Thank you for your understanding as we continue improving our utility system,” the city posted.
