Horizon West Middle to present ‘The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical'

Horizon West Middle School is getting ready to present “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” this week. 

The story follows Percy Jackson, the half-blood son of a Greek god who’s recently discovered his powers. After becoming the prime suspect for Zeus’ master lightning bolt disappearance, Jackson goes through the unimaginable to prove his innocence, find the bolt and return it, to prevent a war among the gods. 

Performances will take place at 5 p.m., Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, as well as at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the school's auditorium, 8200 Tattant Blvd., Windermere. 

Ticket prices vary from $10 to $20.
