Winter Garden resident Tarikka Jones was arrested in the early morning of Friday, April 3, after a man flagged down a police officer from the Orlando Police Department, claiming she was inside Eden Lounge and had a warrant for her arrest for grand theft since September 2025.

Upon confirming the warrant, the police officer detained her with no issues.

During a search, the officer discovered a black chemical device inside Jones' purse.

Based on the officer's training and experience, the device was identified as a destructive and/or chemical device.

As a two-time convicted felon, Jordan was then charged with possession of a chemical agent by a convicted felon.

Inside her purse, a plastic bag with cannabis also was found, as well as a paper wrapper containing multiple broken pills, later identified as Alprazolam.

Jordan now also faces state misdemeanor charges and possession of Alprazolam.

She currently is out on bond.
