CFX to close State Road 429 throughout April 12-16

The road and ramp closures are associated with the new State Road 516.

Central Florida Expressway Authority will be closing portions of State Road 429 and associated ramps from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. various days Sunday, April 12, through Thursday, April 16.

The ramp from southbound S.R. 429 to Schofield Road will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, April 12, to Tuesday, April 14, for road work. Drivers will be directed to exit at New Independence Parkway and then travel south on Avalon Road to Schofield Road.

From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, southbound S.R. 429 at Schofield Road will be closed for road work. Drivers will be directed to exit at Schofield Road and re-enter S.R. 429 using the southbound S.R. 429 on-ramp.

Northbound S.R. 429 at Schofield Road will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, April 16, for road work. Drivers will be directed to exit at Schofield Road and then travel north on Avalon Road to New Independence Parkway.
