Ocoee Police Department mourns loss of former police chaplain

Dr. Gloria Stephens died Wednesday, April 8. She served the police department for many years.

The Ocoee Police Department is mourning the loss of former Police Chaplain Dr. Gloria Stephens. 

She died Wednesday, April 8. 

Stephens faithfully served the department and the Ocoee community for many years.

"She was a constant presence during some of life's most difficult moments, offering comfort, compassion and strength to those in need," the Ocoee Police Department shared on social media. "Dr. Stephens devoted her life to public service, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. We are grateful for her years of service and the difference she made in our department and community. She will be deeply missed."
