Road closures expected in downtown Windermere

There will be road closures on Seventh and Eighth avenues and Butler and Bessie streets from Monday, Feb. 2, through Friday, Feb. 6.

Drivers should expect road closures in downtown Windermere Monday, Feb. 2, through Friday, Feb. 6.

Crews will be working Butler and Forest streets as well as Fernwood Park, grading the roads and working on swales.

There will be daytime closures on Seventh Avenue from "dirt" Main Street to Butler Street and Butler Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

Eighth Avenue between East Boulevard and Bessie Street also will be closed Monday, Feb. 2, through Friday, Feb. 6, due to the installation of storm drainage on Eighth Avenue.

The Lake Butler Boat Ramp is reopened as of Monday, Feb. 2.

The town is asking drivers to allow for extra travel time and to drive safely.
