Windermere Lakes Cleanup Day postponed

Lakes Cleanup Day, originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8, was postponed due to inclement weather and low registration.

The Town of Windermere has decided to postpone its Lakes Cleanup Day originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8.

The event was postponed due to inclement weather and low registration.

This was going to be the second cleanup day after a successful day Nov. 2, 2025.

Town staff currently is working on selecting a new date that will be updated soon.

"We hope you'll be able to join us when the cleanup is rescheduled for a warmer, more suitable day," town staff posted on its website. "Thank you for your continued support and commitment to helping keep Windermere's lakes clean and beautiful."
