Oakland Nature Preserve cancels Blue Hike Paddle Trip

The paddle tour Saturday, Feb. 7, is cancelled.

Oakland Nature Preserve announced it has decided to cancel the Blue Hike Paddle Trip Saturday, Feb. 7.

The high winds and cold weather is why the preserve elected to cancel the paddle tour. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 20 mph and a sustained wind speed of five to 12 miles per hour. The high temperature will be 67 degrees and a low of 43.

The next paddle trip will be in April, followed by May and June.
