Windermere announces road closures

Butler Street and Seventh Avenue will have daytime closures Monday, Feb. 9, through Friday, Feb. 13.

The Town of Windermere has announced daytime road closures on Butler Street and Seventh Avenue Monday, Feb.9, through Friday, Feb. 13. 

Crews will be grading Butler and Forest streets and working in Fernwood Park.

Daytime road closures could take place on Butler Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues as well as on Seventh Avenue between "dirt" Main Street and Butler Street. 

There also will be construction work conducted west of Pine Street. 

On Monday, Feb. 9, crews will be installing a curb on the south side of 706 W. Second Ave.

From Monday, Feb. 9, to Friday, Feb. 13, two crews will be removing old asphalt and dirt and installing new lime rock for paving from 535 to 636 W. Second Ave. and from 802 to 732 W. Second Avenue. 

Starting Tuesday, Feb. 10, and ending Friday, Feb.13, crews will be installing lime rock base material for a ribbon curb in a cul de sac as well as form and pour concrete for that curb. 

Crews will work with residents to notify them 24 hours in advance as to when the residents will access to their driveway.
