Orange County School Board recognizes two Dr. Phillips High students for artwork

Alisa Andrievskaya and Elle Mangin were recognized for their outstanding artistic achievements in district-wide call for Stellar Awards submissions.

The Orange County School Board recognized Dr. Phillips High School's Alisa Andrievskaya and Elle Mangin for their outstanding artistic achievements during the board's meeting Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Andrievskaya and Mangin were among 50 entries submitted in the district-wide call for high school visual arts submissions for Orange County Public Schools' Stellar Awards. 

Andrievskaya's piece, Symphony, "beautifully captured the harmony and collaboration that define the district," according to a news release. The piece was presented as the official gift to the district's four top sponsors. 

Magin's piece, The Wonders of Florida, "offered a vibrant tribute to the natural beauty of Florida," according to the release. It was presented to the district's five district-wide winners. 

"Their creativity and talent represent the very best of our students," the release said.
