Lake Buena Vista High student named 2026 Coca-Cola Scholar

A Lake Buena Vista High School student is representing Orange County Public Schools at a national level as a 2026 Coca-Cola Scholar.

George LaComb was one of 150 students chosen nationwide to receive a merit-based scholarship and be named a Coke Scholar. 

There were more than 107,000 applicants. 

LaComb has been awarded a $20,000 college scholarship for his leadership, service and academic excellence. He also will be honored during the Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend Thursday, April 23, through Sunday, April 26, in Atlanta, Georgia.
