For the first time in five years the Windermere High girls lacrosse team rallied in a shutout victory. The team dominated 22-0 in its contest against Ocoee Thursday, Feb. 12.

It was the team’s first win of the season after falling in its season opener 6-5 to Lake Howell.

What made the victory even sweeter for the Wolverines was three players, Ella Seijo, Aalyah Dunphy and Molly Trimble, earning their first varsity lacrosse goals ever.

Last year Windermere ended the season 6-10. Ocoee ended its season 1-11 and currently is 0-2.
