Several roads throughout downtown Windermere could experience closures from Monday, Feb. 16, through Friday, Feb. 20.
Crews will be installing storm drainage on Eighth Avenue from East Boulevard to Bessie Street and on Bessie Street between Eighth Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
Crews also will be grading roads and installing new shell road material on Eighth Avenue between Main Street and East Boulevard; on East Boulevard from Ninth Avenue to Eighth Avenue; and Oakdale Street between Eighth and 10th avenues.
Grading also will continue to take place on Butler and Forest streets and work will continue in Fernwood Park.
Two crews will be removing old asphalt and dirt and installing new lime rock for paving from 636 to 800 W. Second Ave.
From 914 to 1141 W. Second Avenue, crews will be installing lime rock base material for curbs as well as forming and pouring concrete curbs. Crews will work with residents to notify them 24 hours in advance as to when they will lose access to their driveways.
The town of Windermere is asking drivers to be careful and patient as work is ongoing.
