Black history tribute artist reception to take place at Healthy West Orange Arts and Heritage Center

The Healthy West Orange Arts and Heritage Center is hosting an artist reception to honor the artwork created for Black History Tribute: Art & Icons Changing America. 

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Arts and Heritage Center, 126 W. Petris Ave., Oakland. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists while enjoying wine and light bites. 

There will also be a spoken word performance by Marquis Lee and live music by Ricky Jackson Trio.
