Matthew's Hope receives matching donation

An anonymous donor has made up to $35,000 in matching money available to help replace funds the nonprofit used to operate its freeze warning emergency shelters.

Matthew's Hope is working to recover the funds from the nonprofit's operating budget used to open the freeze warning emergency shelters. 

Officials from the nonprofit said an anonymous donor made up to $35,000 in matching money available to help replace the funds used when Matthew's Hope opened its shelters seven times since November.
