Savannah Emery was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in October 2025.

Since then, she's spent countless days at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, learning to navigate this difficult part of her life alongside her family.

To raise awareness for leukemia, her family held a 5K Walk/Run/Roll, where community members came together to raise money for the pediatric oncology program at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida.

In total, the event raised $15,432.10, with $10,000 going to the pediatric oncology program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and $5,432.10 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, adopting a room for one full year, helping provide housing and comfort to families with children in treatment.

Savannah now is home with her family and is in deep remission.
