Andy Williams will be the next mayor of Windermere.

CT Allen will take his seat on Windermere Town Council, and Brandi Haines will continue to serve in her seat.

An election is not necessary as the three open seats for Town Council were qualified without opposition. The qualifying period ended Friday, Jan. 9.

Williams, who is the fifth generation of his family to live in Windermere and founding partner and licensed broker of Lakeside Realty Windermere, has been serving on Town Council since March 2018.

His grandfather and namesake, Loren Robertson “Andy” Williams, was a former mayor of Windermere.

Williams will be serving as mayor after Mayor Jim O'Brien decided not to run for re-election

Allen is a longtime resident of Windermere. She was a part of the group of seven Windermere Elementary School parents that created the Mustang Education Fund and started Windermere Wine & Dine as a fundraiser.

Town Council selected Haines to fill the seat of council member Molly Rose, who resigned from council in October 2023. Haines then was unopposed for her seat in March 2024.

Council members serve two-year terms.
