Windermere High boys soccer claims Metro Champions title

The Wolverines defeated Innovation 4-0 to secure the Metro Championship.

Windermere High boys soccer team are the 2026 Metro Champions following the team’s 4-0 defeat of Innovation Wednesday, Jan. 14. 

Ivaldo Neto, Keagan Kiefer, Felipe Novak Fontenelle Ribeiro and Enzo Bueno De Oliveria each recorded one goal in the team’s win. 

The Wolverines next game will be Friday, Jan. 16 in a non-district contention against Lake Howell. The home game also is senior night. 

Windermere has had a successful 2026 campaign, going 13-1-5 overall and holds first place in Class 7A District 5 over East Ridge and Dr. Phillips with the 2-0-1 record.
