Windermere Prep and TFA advance to girls soccer district championship

Windermere Prep girls soccer team topped Foundation Academy 4-0 in the 2A District 6 semifinals Thursday, Jan. 22. The same day, The First Academy won its contest against Cornerstone Charter Academy, 7-0. 

TFA will host Windermere Prep at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26 for the district championship game. TFA holds the No. 1 seed and a 8-2-1 record, while Windermere Prep is the No. 3 seed and has a 9-4-2 record. 

With the loss, Foundation Academy’s season came to a close and the Lady Lions ended 7-3-2 and fourth in the district.
