Windermere roads, Lake Butler Boat Ramp to close

The boat ramp at Fernwood Park will be closed through Wednesday, Jan. 28, while work takes place on Butler Street.

The Lake Butler Boat Ramp at Fernwood Park will be closed from Monday, Jan. 26, through Wednesday, Jan. 28.

The closure is needed for necessary improvements.

Boats should be removed from the water immediately.

The ramps at Lake Down and R.D. Keene Park are available as alternates.

Daytime road closures will take place on Seventh Avenue from "dirt" Main Street to Butler Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

There also will be daytime road closures on Butler Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

The closures will be from Monday, Jan. 26, through Friday, Jan. 30.

A road crew will be working on Butler Street to remove old road material and replace it with new road material. Crews also will be grading Butler Street.
