Nehrling Gardens to host yoga event

Nehrling Gardens is hosting Firefly Yoga for a relaxing Sunday morning benefiting the historical green space. 

The event, which will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 8, requires a $5 donation to attend. 

The yoga company holds "Sunday GIVE" to raise funds for nonprofits and charitable organizations in the area.

Donations will be given to Nehrling Gardens to support its continuous education efforts and preservation.  

"The gardens, so close to us in Gotha, serve as a community resource and education center focused on historic preservation, horticultural education and environmental conservation," Firefly Yoga posted on its website.  "...We are so grateful for your support of our classes that help us share your kindness and generosity." 

Attendees should bring their own water, yoga mat and it is recommended a towel to place under the mat for added comfort.
