For the first time since 2019, CFCA extended its season to the Final Four and became one of the first four teams to play in Jacksonville. But it’s also where the team’s season came to an end. After closely contesting with Sagemont Prep, the defending Class 1A State Champions, in the first quarter, 19-19, Sagemont put on the gas and the Eagles fell 76-60 in the 1A State Semifinals.
“I mean, it's tough, but I'm just very happy and thankful for the opportunity,” Alexander Dipaolo said. “The biggest thing wasn't even the game, the outcome, anything like that. It's just being able to spend time with those guys, it's something that I'll remember.”
Dipaolo, CFCA’s senior guard, led the Eagles this season with 17.2 points per game, 6.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
