The City of Ocoee and Chick-fil-A have announced this year's 14th annual 5K will benefit a Winter Garden nonprofit with the goal of ending malnutrition and hunger in the world, the Do Good Farm.

The Kid's Fun Run, hosted by Fravel Brewer Orthodontic, also will benefit Do Good Farm.

The nonprofit achieves its goal one step at a time by teaching communities to grow their own food sustainably.

"When you run, you’re not just crossing a finish line — you’re helping families grow hope,"Ocoee's Chick-fil-A posted on Instagram.

While the 5K is at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 18, registration already is open.

It is $40 per person, and $25 for military and first responders.
