Foundation Academy's sprinter wins third at New Balance Indoor Nationals

Senior Lee Peters claimed bronze while competing against sprinters at the highest level.

Foundation Academy track and field athlete Lee Peters competed in the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston, Massachusetts, Thursday, March 12, to Sunday, March 15. She ran the 60-meter dash in 7.35 seconds to claim bronze in the heat, while competing against athletes from across the country. 

The senior Lion is the defending state champion in the 200-meter and 60-meter dash, and her goal this season is to reclaim the title. She competed in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals for the first time in June 2025.
