The city of Ocoee has issued a precautionary boil water notice for six streets.

The notice is in effect until the city issues an official rescission.

It is for 1902 to 2009 Leslie Ann Lane, 1000 to 1101 Nicole Blvd., 1100 Marlene Drive, Joan Lee Lane, Armada Court and Ruth Jordana Court.

Boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and any other water consumption.

The water should be brought to a rolling boil for a full minute. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.

The notice was issued as a result of a water main losing pressure due to a break, damage or maintenance, allowing outside materials can enter the system.

After repairs are completed, crews will flush the lines and collect water samples. An official notice will be shared lifting the advisory once results confirm water is safe.

For any questions, call the city's Utilities Department at (407) 905-3159.
