Winter Garden's Newton Park to close for event

The park, boat ramp, parking lot and surrounding roads will be closed from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 28, for Evening at the Pops.

Newton Park and roads surrounding the park will be closed for the Rotary Club of Winter Garden's Evening at the Pops.

The park, which is located at 31 W. Garden Ave., boat ramp and parking lot will be closed from 6 a.m. to approximately 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 28.

On-site event parking at Newton Park is not available, except for limited handicap and golf cart parking zones.

Residents near the park will be notified if they are in one of the closure zones and will be provided with a pass placard to enable access to their property.

Parking is not allowed on or within Trailer City roads, and only residents of Trailer City will be allowed access to those areas.
