The end of the basketball season didn't mean the end of accomplishments for Dr. Phillips High boys basketball team's Isaiah Gillard.

Gillard was selected to play in the Cure All-Star Game at Windermere High Saturday, March 28. The senior at Dr. Phillips played his last game as a Panther when the team lost to Windermere High 69-58 in the 7A Regional Quarterfinal game Saturday, Feb. 14. The game is presented by Orlando Health and was created to recognize top girls and boys players across Orange County. The girls game will kick off first at 2 p.m., followed by the boys game at 3:30 p.m.

Dr. Phillips ended the season 15-13 and Gillard played an important hand in its postseason appearance. The 6-foot-3 guard is committed to the Florida Institute of Technology and was the first player to be added to the school's 2026 commit class. In his high school career, Gillard also played for Windermere Preparatory School and Foundation Academy.
