OCPS searches for high school students for Summer Production Series

The district is looking for high school performers and technicians for the its first OCPS Summer Production Series, with a production of "In the Heights."

CASTING CALL: Orange County Public Schools is looking for any high school performer and technician to be involved in the district's first OCPS Summer Production Series.

Through the program, students will bring "In the Heights" to the stage Thursday, June 25, through Saturday, June 27, at Edgewater High School.

Phoenix Foundation of Central Florida has provided funding for the OCPS Summer Production Series.

The district is looking for students to fill areas of the production including leads, ensemble, designers, technicians and musicians for the live orchestra.

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 1, and rehearsals begin Monday, June 1.
