Laughter emerged as a bucket of water fell on a man’s head over and over again at the Whispering Oak Elementary Spring Carnival Friday, March 27. One by one, students lined up to take a shot at the target, aiming successfully almost every time.
The Splash Tower is a water-dunk game which was incredibly popular throughout the event.
Held at the school’s green space, the carnival included a plethora of activities for all involved. Beyond the splash tower, students enjoyed rock climbing, train rides, inflatables, carnival games, face paint, balloons and more.
Adults also could bid on silent auction baskets from over 40 businesses, including Urban Air Adventure Park, Jeff’s Bagel Run, Corona, Orlando Magic, Fun Spot and Island H2O Water Park.
The hundreds of attendees walked around, chatted, tried food trucks and had loads of fun while enjoying music from DJ Michael C., from The Event Specialists Inc., as well as live entertainment.
Proceeds from ticket sales and silent auctions will directly impact the school’s PTO and its ability to provide financial support for resources often not covered by the school’s budget.
