Alex and Sandra Stimage raised funds at the event alongside Joewee Mills and Jaime Castro.
Katie Kowalewski’s team was themed after the “Pirate of the Caribbeans.”
Relay for Life’s leadership team members were happy with the event’s turnout.
Jazz performances was one of many live performances at the event.
Children were able to get their hair done by Dorothy herself.
The Orlando Cloggers took the stage tipping and tapping.
Helena Cortez, Britania Tutera and Amanda Arruda walked around the field, completing laps for Relay for Life.
Widline Guerrier and Keeyana Mansfield dressed as Elphaba and Glinda.
JC Kozma and Sue Gailit are active participants of Relay for Life at Lake Buena Vista.
Lake Buena Vista’s 20th Relay for Life took place Saturday, March 28, to celebrate survivors, honor caregivers, remember loved ones and raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
Attendees were celebrated for their journeys as cancer survivors, cancer patients and caregivers, before heading to the track to complete the first lap.
Attendees completed laps throughout the event to fight for cancer, because cancer never sleeps.
The event was complete with a DJ, live performances, games, activities, food trucks and refreshments for all to indulge.
The night ended with fireworks and one last lap.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the American Cancer Society.
