Rowers at Orlando Area Rowing Society earn Jack Snyder Award

OARS' Kai Nieves and Bailey Owen earned the Jack Snyder Award.

The Orlando Area Rowing Society celebrated two rowers who accomplished earning the Jack Snyder Award. It is given to athletes that resemble Jake Snyder, who is a rower that emphasized teamwork to make the team faster, rather than rowing for individual gain. 

OARS' Kai Nieves and Bailey Owen were given the award for their commitment to helping propel their crew, character and leadership. 

"Kai and Bailey, you truly represent what this award stands for," OARS wrote on social media. "We are so proud you."
