Dr. Phillips junior Ledger Hatch announced some big news early Tuesday afternoon, as the talented wide receiver committed to Harvard University.

In a tweet sent out at 1 p.m., Hatch thanked his family and the Panthers football staff for their support, before declaring where he would spend the next four years of his football-playing career.

“After long talks with God and my family I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to HARVARD UNIVERSITY!,” Hatch said in his tweet. “Huge thank you to Coach Fucillo, Coach Murphy, Coach Fien and Coach Lamb for this amazing opportunity!”

The news comes a little over a month after Hatch picked up an offer from Cornell University, which completed a run that saw the junior snag offers from all eight Ivy League schools.
