Sue Grafton allows her clients who are not trying to lose more than 20 pounds one cheat day a week. I love this idea! After five straight days of eating healthy, I was so ready. I don't even want to tell you what I ate.
I was having a garage sale with my sister at my house, so the men in this big family of ours decided it was their responsibilty to bring us food. My dad started us off with some doughnuts. I only ate half of my son Ryder's vanilla frosted doughnut with sprinkles, but I am sure there was more sugar in that than I had all week. Then around lunch time my brother in law (who rocks!) brought us my favorite Tijuana Flats. I had a quesadilla and a large coke. I did stay away from the chips.
The Polesk Museum held its annual Garden Party, which is a fabulous event. Some of my favorite vendors were there, including John and Shirley Stamper. I had some of their famous Johnny Kabobs Chicken and stuck to water.
We celebrated my brother Will's girlfriend Kyle's birthday last night at Dave and Busters. I had never been there, so I didn't know what to get, but let me tell you what Will ordered for the table: Spinach dip, potato skins, cheese fries, wings and anything that looked remotely bad for you. This was completely unfair because they are on the insanity diet and have will power, while I am on my cheat day and definitely dove into some spinach dip and nachos! But I didn't eat too much.
I can't wait to see what Sue is going to reply to this post. It is definitely going to be hard to eat healthy today after a cheat day.
How was everyone's first week? Fifty-three days left. Any recommendations for classes I should take in the area?
