New cardiac catheterization lab opens in Ocoee

A new cardiac catheterization lab now is open at Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. 

“We’ve been listening to our community and know that specialized cardiology care is something

people in West Orange County would like to have closer to home,” said Maggie Bonko, Orlando

Health vice president and president of Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital. “We’re thrilled to

open this cardiac catheterization lab, which will help us continue delivering exceptional care to our

community.”

The lab is equipped with the latest technology, with patient safety as a top priority. 

This is the third catheterization lab to open at the hospital, expanding access to services such as advanced electrophysiology and arrhythmia care.
