Rotary Club president Lisa Bennett (left) and fellow Rotarian George Spigener (right rear) welcome students from Lakeview Middle School to the Rotary Club of Winter Garden weekly lunch meeting. The students — Sydney Sedloff, Paige Grubbs and Joanne Wang — are the winners of the annual Four-Way Test award from their respective 6th-grade classes. The awards are given annually to deserving students based on essay entries describing real-life situations in which they have applied the Four-Way Test to resolve a problem. The test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. It asks, of all things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? The Rotary Club meets at noon each Tuesday at Tanner Auditorium.
