Windermere Rotary donates to nature preserve

The Rotary Club of Windermere presented a check for $1,000 on May 21 to Mona Phipps from the Oakland Nature Preserve. Located on the southern shore of Lake Apopka, the preserve strives to promote understanding of the fragile balances between mankind and the environment by educating present and future generations about natural ecosystems of Lake Apopka Basin and by restoring and conserving the lands within the preserve.
