Winter Park resident earns doctoral degree
An estimated 1,365 students at all levels (bachelor's, master's, doctoral and professional) participated in the University of Wisconsin-Madison's winter commencement ceremony, held on Sunday, Dec. 21. Winter Park resident Matthew Nichter was among them, earning a doctoral degree in philosophy and sociology.
Attorney Keith J. Hesse joins ShuffieldLowman

Developer negotiates expansion lease agreement
Winston-James Development, developers of Aloma Business Center on Aloma Ave. in Winter Park, recently negotiated an expansion lease agreement with the tenant, Optimal LED, LLC. Optimal LED, LLC has expanded its operating facilities by leasing another 940 square feet and will now occupy 5,100 square feet at the Aloma Business Center.
