ORLANDO Sophomore running back Greg Field and junior running back Chance Bush scored early rushing touchdowns, getting The First Academy Royals (1-0) rolling on their way to what would become a 37-0 victory in their opener against West Oaks (0-1).
The Royals defense pitched a shutout in front of the home crowd and The First Academy's offense rebounded after a turnover on its first possession to put up some solid numbers.
For The First Academy: The Royals (1-0) will travel to Winter Garden in Week Two to face off with the up-and-coming Foundation Academy Lions (0-1). Foundation was defeated by Class 8A-powerhouse West Orange in its opener, 36-3.
