The race began on Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden.
Blaine Goodwin, 17, led the way with a time of 38:07.
Patrick Sirois, 45, placed second, with a time of (38:16).
Jessica Kennedy was the top female finisher. She posted a time of 41:29.
David Bryant, of Montverde, finished fifth overall with a time of 42:33.
Tiffany Roby, of Windermere, placed second overall for female runners.
Carl Ollivierre finished seventh among all males.
Rob Sullivan represented Winter Garden in this year’s 10K.
Kelly Hunter, a resident of Winter Garden, finished in 44:54.
Steven Gonzalez placed 19th overall.
Jessica Donovan, of Winter Garden, posted a time of 46:16.
Lauren Adams placed seventh of all women in this year’s 10K.
Marah Fitos, of Windermere, averaged a 7:34 mile.
Blaire Harter averaged an 8:41 mile.
Diana Wenrich, of Winter Garden, completed the race in 53:55.
Terry Howe completed the race in 54:05.
Nearly 300 runners took to the streets downtown for the 2016 Winter Garden 10K.
Hosted by Tri & Run of West Orange, the course began in historic downtown on Plant Street and took runners through the surrounding neighborhoods. Friends and family awaited the finishers at the downtown splash pad.
Seventeen-year-old Blaine Goodwin, of Winter Garden, was the overall winner, finishing with a time of 38:07. He was followed by Patrick Sirois (38:16) and Trent Smith (41:24).
The top female was Jessica Kennedy, who finished with a time of 41:29. Second- and third-place females included Tiffany Roby (43:42) and Erin Lumpkins (44:11).
