With baskets and buckets in hand, West Orange County children raced across the lawn of Newton Park to pick up as many candy-filled plastic eggs as they could before they were all gone. Parents stood on the sidelines shouting encouragement.
The Winter Garden Lions Club has hosted the annual event for decades on the shores of Lake Apopka.
