WINTER GARDEN In its first action since its 2015 Class 2A District 4 championship season, the Foundation Academy football team defeated Seffner Christian, 48-14, in the teams' spring exhibition game May 13 at Walker Field.
Jaquane Patterson led the Lion rushing attack with 101 yards and two touchdowns. Lester Axson returned an interception for a touchdown to help break open the game in the second quarter, during which the Lions scored 28 points.
