WINTER GARDEN The West Orange girls lacrosse team defeated rival Apopka with ease in the semifinals of the District 9 Tournament last week, 21-1.
Two days later, against East Ridge, the Warriors scored a 16-5 victory to secure the district championship and a playoff berth.
West Orange (12-6) will travel to Lake Highland Prep (12-6) Thursday for a 6 p.m. showdown in the FHSAA First Round Play-In.
