WINTER GARDEN The West Orange Warriors got their bats going early and often Wednesday afternoon in the semifinals of the Central Florida Spring Break Slam.
West Orange (10-3) scored 8 runs in the first two innings and ultimately defeated the Dr. Phillips Panthers 13-6.
With the victory, the Warriors will now host Colonial in the championship game of the tournament tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Heller Bros. Ballpark on the campus of West Orange High.
Dr. Phillips (6-6) will take on Wellington in the third-place game.
