PHOTOS: Warriors top Panthers in semis of Spring Break Slam -- Observer Preps

The Warriors' 13-6 victory over visiting Dr. Phillips advances them to tomorrow's championship of the Central Florida Spring Break Slam.

WINTER GARDEN The West Orange Warriors got their bats going early and often Wednesday afternoon in the semifinals of the Central Florida Spring Break Slam.

West Orange (10-3) scored 8 runs in the first two innings and ultimately defeated the Dr. Phillips Panthers 13-6.

With the victory, the Warriors will now host Colonial in the championship game of the tournament tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Heller Bros. Ballpark on the campus of West Orange High.

Dr. Phillips (6-6) will take on Wellington in the third-place game.
