WINTER GARDEN Children always inquire about the pizza-making process when they come to Slidders Pizza with their parents, so Richard Gonzalez, owner of the pizzeria, decided to create a pizza-making class for kids. Each class lasted 30 minutes and allowed children to make their own pizza. The classes ran from Monday, March 17, to Saturday, March 25, and more than 400 children participated in the classes.
After a successful week of pizza classes, Gonzalez said he is planning to host a summer camp at the restaurant for children interested in learning more about making pizza and running a restaurant.
