ORLANDO Hundreds of guests gathered together in the name of education Saturday, Sept. 30, for the Bridges of Light Foundation’s 14th Annual Players Ball. Hosted at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, the evening consisted of an elegant evening with a three-course meal, silent and live auctions, live music from ‘80s tribute band Switch, dancing, casino games and more. The annual gala raises money for the Bridges of Light Foundation, which was established in 2004 by Stacey and William Papp “with an objective to raise money that is distributed specifically for children who have been abandoned, abused neglected or at-risk,” according to its website. Tens of thousands of dollars were raised, and will go toward providing bridges to education for at-risk children.
