ORLANDO For Seniors First’s annual High Tea & Hats fundraising event — held this year at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes — attendees were encouraged to get creative with their hats, and they didn’t disappoint. Some were adorned in brightly colored bows and flowers, while others were meticulously crafted with jewels, miniature figurines, feathers and more. Guests enjoyed a lively afternoon tea, hat parade and contest and silent auction. Proceeds from High Tea & Hats, which is now in its 11th year running, go directly toward seniors needing services from Seniors First and will be used to support programs like Meals on Wheels and in-home and personal-care services.
